Because I know that…
…words are not deeds, if I say tree, I barely get close to what birds know
…humanity is a single family and we inhabit a single country called “Earth”
…we borrowed this Earth from our children.
Because…
…grandparents say the world was created five times and five times it was populated
…I know that today is not too late to save “Mother Earth”
…sometimes, campaigns are temporary; TODAY we want to integrate actions into our way of living
For everything that has life and movement in my home, your home.
Because all of this, Sabre Travel Network family in Mexico is aware that great changes begin from within. From our home to our community, from our company to our industry, we begin this venture, this campaign to raise awareness of our environment.
Sabre Travel Network Mexico employees attended a presentation on the subject of sustainability. While learning the importance of concepts such as Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle we also committed ourselves to pass along the message and take action in our homes as well as in the office. We realised how little changes can have a great effect, and how individual actions impact on the community and the world.
Our campaign will be delivered:
In our office.- After Sabre workshops , with an average of 30 participants every week.
In the Travel Industry.- we will raise awareness among our vendors.
In our cyber community.-Sending blast e-mails to our friends.
In our community.- With 59 universities in agreement with Sabre.
And even in Rock concerts.- Joselo, one of our Help Desk specialists and his band Oransh will pass along the message in every gig!
You can start right now and are welcome to join us. These are ten simple but effective changes you can implement at your office and home:
1. Reuse shopping bags.
2. Take it easy.
3. Take a bath in 2 minutes.
4. Take out things you do not need in the car.
5. Use energy saving light bulbs.
6. Unplug electric devices you do not use.
7. Define a specific place to recharge your cell phones.
8. Turn off computers you do not use.
9. Do not waste WC water (it is not a trash can).
10. Use a microwave to heat up your food.
Giving time together has never been so profitable in our future generations!

I can really tell that once I started to analyze my day to day activities I realized how much energy I can save, and contribute to save my planet, understanding that we may not be here tomorrow but our actions will remain forever and our kids would highly appreciate our mindset change
Little by little we make a huge difference.
The strongest point of this campaign it is that everyone who comes across this blog post knows that they can too start making a difference right away.

Recycle, reuse what ever you can. everything can be recycled and we can cut down on waste.
This campaign it was a great experience to validate the fantatist teamwork Mexico has and to involve all of us to protect our planet and our energy, passion was present!
