175 team members from the MVD center went to a public school for the first step of their GTT campaign for 2008.

Here’s what Juan Carlos noted-

• We had a full day event where several teams, took care at the same time of a variety of different activities:
• We painted 2 classrooms
• We donated a PC for sixth grade
• We repaired and painted all playground games
• We built new playground games
• We fixed the cages to breed chicks and rabbits
• We designed and limited a perimeter for a deer park.
• We created a new space for gardening
• We planted native trees and added stone signs with their names one it
• We built a fountain.
• We repaired the greenhouse.

All these activities were chosen after receiving feedback from students, teachers and school principal.

Following what we did yesterday in the school, next week we will be hosting a visit from all students to our Center having some educational related activities that will also help us build a stronger relationship with the school (students and teachers) and a great benefit to the entire community.
